The very last thing the folks on this site need or WANT are more CC's
Besides the "rewards" you speak of are for people with excellent credit.
Here is an example of an offer for people with "poor" credit.

"The Centennial Gold MasterCard®, issued by First PREMIER Bank, is an unsecured credit card designed for those who need to re-establish their credit. Unlike secured cards, this credit card does not require a security deposit. However, the following fees will be billed to the first statement: an annual fee of $48, an account set-up fee of $29, a program fee of $95, and a monthly participation fee of $6. These types of fees are common for cards designed for poor or limited credit and they will reduce the cardholder’s available credit until they are paid.
Therefore, those individuals who prefer not to place a deposit to secure the account (as is the case with secured accounts) and do not mind paying the fees associated with this card totaling $244 for the first year alone, may find the Centennial Gold MasterCard® as a reasonable option."
Who exactly would want to spend 244.00 per year just to have this????????

Sounds nuts to me.
