J Kelly, I'm sure your grandfather was a wise and learned judge, but I grew up in the exact same part of New Jersey that the ficticious Sopranos are supposed to be in. The amount of corruption I saw in real life was exactly how it is on the Sopranos. Corrupt cops. Corrupt judges. Corrupt attorneys, bankers, accountants, teachers. I could go on and on! It seemed like everyone you dealt with was corrupt to some degree. Some more than others.

So, you can see how I've gotten to be a little jaded. I never saw a judge who let "the bounds of the law" stand in his way of rendering a verdict that he wanted to render.

P.S. I also never saw a cop tell the truth in court knowing full well that his honest testimony would result in an acquittal. That NEVER happened!
