If this is in relation to a credit card debt, then you need to get a lawyer for your wife, as not only can't you speak for her, but even if you could, you would not be able to do a good job, unless you are VERY familiar with the laws of your State.

Plus, if ths is HER debt, you are hurting her even more by not allowing her to take respnsibility for her own defense.
