Have 40k(+or-) between MBNA and BCS (now the same) CO 12-30-03 W&A has it now. Received call 01-12-04 in reguardes to debt. Received 1st letter around 20th post marked 01-17-04. Received 2nd call appox. 01-22-04 and ask if I could record they said yes then I proceeded to state not to contact by phone and by mail only at the address of record. The BIG mistake I thing I made was I rolled some un-secured debt ( about 16k with Regions Bank into a secured note on a second mortage that I already had that was at 30k) to bring my pmts down to what one of them was. This may trip me up in BK. THAT is my biggest problem faceing me now and 1st and 2nd = appox. 90% of value of home. Family income is 23K for family of four. Is it true that BK court will wave filing fees for those in dire need? Sorry so many questions but it is time to put together a plan of action. I have NOT sent ANYTHING in writing to W&A as of yet. I NEED GOOD advice. Thank you, Jeff
