I would also run a case search (if possible) on your local clerk of courts website. Search for the commercial name Asset Accept. There will likely be ALOT of default judgements. You are looking for cases where AA is the Plaintiff and not Creditor or Defendant. For these cases look at the dockets to determine how they filed and what the case outcome is. Local to me, most of the cases where the Defendant answered were dismissed by asset with or without predjudice. Answering is a big step - don't back down!!!! Don't be scared - The clerk should know, but go don't be afraid to do some research this weekend and go down Monday and talk to the C of Courts.
