As a childcare provider for the last 22 years, I understand your problem, but you are leaving one important aspect out. The very children you have loved and cared for! How bad is this situation going to affect their lives in the long run? I'd keep the money in perspective here, and at this point I feel $150 a month would be gravy. Please, think about the children here.
