Don't stop there. I wrote the request for validation form to simply find out what records the creditor has about you. Yes, it is written for third party debt collectors, but should also be used in response to creditor collection notices.

You should expect that they do not have anything with your signature. This is not enough, but it tells you what you're working with. Expect to be sued, and then use this information to ask the court for summary judgment after filing your answer.

There are certain other arguments on which you can base this type of defense, but don't think that my request for validation form is your only defense, it's just a tool to gather information and express your dispute.
