I have paid this account in full- they have been double billing me. I have my cancelled checks and everything. I called right after I paid the bill asa agreed to request a receipt. They were very unprofessional and said it would be mailed after I paid. I have my cancelled check and their letters. This bill was paid in full on October 9, 2002. For two years they have been double billing me now the bill is up to 1330- that's crazy- they need to adjust their records. I do not owe this- i have been paying all my credit cards off one at a time I 've called and they told me I had two accounts -one was closed the other the same account number I owed a balance due. I asked for the fax number they would not give it to meand actually hung up. I will sue thes people for fraud this is illegal per Fair Debt Act #15. My last payment to them was for $200 dollars tocomplete the deal of closing the account for 500. Ms Carr wrote me this letter I spoke with them and made installment payments. my last check saypayment in full on the check- it was cased , this is my receipt. Check number is 751 at my bank HSBC- I am a graduate student and currently unemployed I do not have time to play games with you. You can request a copy of the check from my bank- I am not paying for copies and I am not giving you my last copy- I have invested too much time and energy on this and frankly this is HARASSMENT -It IS NOT LEGAL- they are doulbe billing me for and account I have already paid.
