From what I've found on the web, these jerks have probably been the subject of discussion many times on this board, but does anyone know how to handle this? They've been haunting my girlfriend with letters about arrest warrants regarding a 'bounced' check that she doesn't even remember writing. The letter (which actually came May of last year) has little info in it and the phone number is disconnected. My real question is can they tarnish her credit or are these jokers already in jail?
