How to deal with CAs. IGNORE THEM. I truly recommend disconnecting your phone and then get a new phone in someone else's name. At least change your phone number. The phone is the CAs tool, take it away from them. If they get your phone number, put your machine on fax, let the machine pick up, watch caller ID. There is a lot of psychology in debt collections. CAs will lie, and threaten, play on your emotions. If you don' talk to them, they can't harass you.
