Ok, that's what I thought you meant. But I have a couple of other questions: If the last payment on the account was four months after the account became delinquent (and the last payment was within the SOL), *but* the payment didn't bring the account current, does that mean the SOL defense is blown if the CA does produce records of that last payment...or does it mean that I'm just on shaky ground?

Also, does this mean that a countersuit for illegally re-aging the account to several CRA's is a bad idea? I live in Illinois, if that makes any difference.
