They are perfectly within their rights to charge-off the account for insufficient payments. If you've been paying less than the minimum for over a year, then you are WAY behind in keeping the account current in their system - and they will charge-off the account. Keep paying what you can, but you won't stop the charge-off unless you pay up ALL of what you have NOT been paying for the last year +.
