Per the Fair Credit Billing Act, payments MUST be posted on the DAY THEY ARE RECEIVED, not the day someone emptys their inbox ! How do you prove when it was received ?? Send your payment using some service that gets you a delivery receipt. Then and only then can you prove they are deliberately holding your payment until its late before they post it.
