yea i know. my plan was to take the settlement from 401k, ira and house sale (50/50 split) and use it to pay cash on a little older house, or land and mobile package, this way i would not have to worry about rent or mortgage payments, just keep up with prop. taxes, utilities etc. i also plan to keep up his life insurance for the just in case. he's later 50's and i'm early 50's. yup, and 2 kids still at home, late bloomers. i just dont know if i could skid by and not file BK. just would be nice to not worry about creditors trying to get my bank acct. i keep bout nothin in bank now. darn life sure sucks about now.
