Am I nuts?? Not paying mtg to pay Ch 13 fees (m)

We haven't payed our unsecured debt in a year. We were with CCCS and they told us to file BK b/c we couldn't afford the CCCS payments. Two CC discharged the accts and one went to WP&A. Everyone knows (creditors) we plan to file. We thought we'd get more of a tax refund but we aren't. Now 2 mos behind on two car notes and in an elevated payment plan with the mortgage b/c we got behind. I feel like we have to stop the chaos now and just pay the final fees to file Ch 13 (filing Ch 13 b/c we have a house and want to keep it). Doing so would mean I'm not paying a mortgage payment in this plan that is already late. I know that we can avoid forclosure proceedings once we get ourselves into this and get it all processed...so I should worry. But I'm worried. Am I stupid to want to just give the BK lawyer his money and get this Ch 13 in?
