If they make a threat of a law suite and do not intend to carry it out, they are in violation of the FDCPA. They know that. That is why the mail does not mention legal action. DON'T TALK TO THEM. IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE. IF you are served and sued, respond immediately.
