Ok, here are Florida rules.

They must wait 30 days. That is the time limit for filing a notice of appeal. Also, have to wait for you to ask for a new trial.

That will not stop them from trying to get information before the 30 days are up. If they try that, file a motion to strike based on your 30 day time frame to file an appeal.

Unless you are a corporation, they will most likely file interrogatories to find out what assets you have, work, etc.

Then they will attempt to garnish wages, bank accounts, etc. It is very important to declare your exemptions at this point to the court so you don;t lose them.
