hi. i posted a message for why chat, but there was now response. so anyone with ANY advice about how i go about this thank you in advance for any and all your help!ok here's the problem. i discovered that i paid TWO DIFFERENT collection agencies for the SAME account!!! I made one payment to CollectCorp in Novemeber of 2002 and then just made another payment for the SAME account number to National Financial Systems. what do i do now? how can i get my money back? the credit card was a Citibank Classic Mastercard. When I paid in November I received a letter stating that this was a final payment and that the account would be closed. Obviously it wasn't. I was also harrassed by a law firm in May of 2003 for the SAME account! I didn't put it all together until now when i was cleaning out all of my paperwork. Dumb on my part, but now I need HELP!!! PLEASE!!! what do i do?
