brothers debt - my problem

My brother has several outstanding debts he has no intention of paying. He lives in the same city but has been having his mail sent to our parents house and on every credit app. he has used their phone # as his. So they are getting calls and letters from CA's. Besides responding that John does not live there and hanging up is there anything else they can do to stop these calls and letters? Thanks.
