I know that seems like a long time, but it it worth saving the outrageous fees charged by this companies.

Don't post any personal information here. Do you have a complex tax situation- or is it just own a home, etc. YOu should be able to do it yourself on the internet and then efile. THe programs guide you through the questions, and then help fill out the forms for you. The only difference between this and HR Block etc is that there is someone there filling out the information on the computer.

IF your sitation is complex, go to an accountant- they are required by law to keep up on the changes in the law.

Trust me, HR Block gives great tax classes, but you can do it yourself and ave a lot of money.
