Don't talk to creditors. They lie and threaten, or maybe just don't know. They want their money. End of story. Listen to your attorney.As far as I know, but I'm pretty sure, the deficiency would be discharged in the bk. This is not something the creditor wants to hear. Of course they are going to tell you you still owe. YOU DON'T NEED TO TELL YOUR CREDITORS ANYTHING. LET YOUR ATTORNEY HELP YOU. THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE PAYING HIM FOR. GIVE THE MONEY TO YOUR ATTORNEY.
