My opinion here is this. When MBNA sends an account to W & A, they are going to sue you. They have made the decision to sue you. Ignoring them will not slow down the process because they are already doing it. So in this case, in my opinion, it is best to play hardball. Send validation letters, limited cease and desist letters and start logging in the violations, and then countersue.

I say this because from what I have read, nothing stops this team in their tracks. They ignore validation letters and still press forward with arbitration. That is violations. They ignore cease and desist letters.

If this was a CA and they were uncertain as to what to do with you, then yes, ignoring them is the answer. But they already know there are assets and they are going to sue.
