thoughts on collection and CAs

i saw a lot of posts farther down and i wanted to say this. some collection agents have given the trade a bad name. the abusive ones..not SKB. like used car salesmen u know? for some reason its a license to scream and call names..and threaten. how many professions have a law just to make them behave? not many, think on it. my trouble is..i want to pay what i owe. i cant. the interest alone is prohibitive. no one yet will knock any off. i actually told cap1 to please charge me off./ she was quite astonished. for now..there is no way to pay them off and i think that is what frustrates so many of us. it adds up..piles on..and nothing we can do will stop it if we dont have a few thousand laying around. that is what is driving me crazy. i know i owe it. and i literally cant come close to paying anything to anyone to help. maybe if some of these companies would truly want to clear up the debts without making a killing..we all could work together on it and solve it. until then..i dont see a way out. any views? i paid 400$ on a 200$ balance in 6 months and i still owe 400 no wait 500 now..its feb..!!!! all on a account that had 200$ on it. miss 2 months and it was ...150$ to pay to bring it up to current. that was the end. i didnt have 150$.
