does a sherriff serve you with a judgement or deos it come in the mail? The so called laywers said it will be served by a sheriff and they are going to charge my account 5% more because of it. I got a letter in the mail saying a judgement was put against me, but this letter was from the laywers group. I called the courts and there wasnt even a date on the summons and they said the file number wasnt correct.
