Charge of Changed to Repo

I had an account with FMCC that I defaulted on in 1999. I checked my CR last month and it showed FMCC Charge off 3/99 and I checked today and it shows Repo as of 2.2004. Does this mean that it will stay on my CR until 2/2011? I thought the SOL was 7 yrs and it would be removed 3/2006. I am utterly confused. Can anyone help me undertstand how this works?? Thanks,
