Well, here it is, tax season. I just efiled my taxes and will have enough to get rid of some chargeoffs. The reason I am going to do this is because I am hoping to buy a house this Spring.
I am going to negotiate full-payment in EXCHANGE for COMPLETE DELETION of their tradeline.
What is the best letter to use for this? Does it actually work? If they agree in writing, then refuse after receiving payment, do I have any recourse? Is it just a waste of time?
