If a collection agency purchases a debt 2 years after a charge off occured from the original creditor, does the statute of limitations in PA start from the date that the collection agency purchased the debt, or does it start from the original charge off date? Also, is the SOL in PA 4 or 6 years? I have seen conflicting numbers.
