I don't think there is a sherrif in NY that serves summonses. They are too busy towing cars.
Their process server(at least the jerk my son saw)
is and old guy in his 60's who drives a brown car, kind of beat up. I saw the car near my job(that's how they found out where I work). Their website says they have state of the art skiptracing, asset locators. If this is state of the art, a 10 yr. could have accomplished the same thing. They see the company name on the bldg, and call info to get the phone#. A no brainer really. As far as locating assets, all they have to do is go one NYC property, it's public record. Anyone with even limited computer knowledge can do the same.
