Yes it was for work performed at their rental property. The husband represented himself as the authorized user. The wife knew about the card because she called to discuss the charge on the card. There is a signature for satisfactory work done and to charge the credit card. My merchant provider thought that the invoice was in good order, but you never know with banks. I talked with the court in our county, they said that it can not be considered fraud, because she is stating that she didn't sign for it. That it was a civil matter. Is she right, or should I talk to someone else.
