Who is the plaintiff according to the summons? If it says it's the original creditor, you're dealing with the OC. If it says anyone else, you're dealing with a third-party CA who may be an assignee of the OC, or who may be the out-right owner of the debt. If the plaintiff is the attorney, the attorney is acting as a CA and would therefore be a third-party collection agent.
