Based on all the research I've done since receiving my first CAMCO phone call Wednesday of last week...I'm wondering how this company is still in business, and still harassing US Citizens? There comes a time when we've got to ask...who's the REAL PROBLEM here. Why's this company apparently found sanctuary in the State of IL? Where are the good guys for-cryin-out-loud? Squash these Cockroaches already. I receive a phone call 2/4/04 from an over-the-top debt collector regarding a credit card debt my wife supposedly incurred in 1990. Last payment--according to the lying, threatening, harassing individual w/a ghetto accent (who asked me snidly several times where my wife was at) was in 1994. They're SOL. So why am I forced to have to respond to their first letter which came in the mail this Tuesday (5 days after their first phone call)...hmmmmmm? Where's the authorities already? Debt was allegedly originated in the State of CA. We live in WA--my wife has lived here since 1996! Why is it these scum-bags are still operating after everything I've read about them, and why isn't SOME AUTHORITY doing something to put a stop to this UNBELIEVABLE HARASSMENT?
