I do not know what the requirements are for the State of Washington in this matter. I can say that in Alameda County California Superior Court, Plaintiffs are allowed to offer into evidence a statement that the "ORIGINAL" copy cannot be found. Then there is an affidavit attesting the the Contract was legal and binding.

Is your county Court system online? Have you visited the Courthouse and reviewed other Collection/Breach of Contract cases?

You really need to know how the emnemy operates in your jurisdiction.
