Is the ca camco? If it is, send a sol letter and a cease and desist certified with return receipt. I had camco come after me for a debt that was 13 years old. They called constantly, when they did call I would just say I don't remember the debt and hang up. Then I sent a sol, cease and desist letter and I haven't heard from them again. I talked to some internet lawyers and I was told if they try and sue me for the debt. The lawyers would be more than happy to represent me because its illegal to sue or put back on the credit report any sol debt.
