I need some credit advice. Recently, my Discover card account went to collections & I received several letters from a company named "Wolpoff & Abramson, LLP", stating they would now be attempting to collect this debt. Today, I received a "Warrant in Debt, Civil Claim for money" document, which states I need to appear in court on March 19th, 2004. I am in no position to pay off the entire debt - $7700, which is how I got into this situation to begin with. I would like to find out what my options are at this point?
