I can certainly understand how frustrating that must have been for you.
I personally think it is time the credit card industry became accountable for what they can legally get away with. The outrageous interest rates, combined with their ability to charge over the limit fees is absolutely sickening.
If one does max out a card why don't they just continue to charge the same interest, but add no extra fees and perhaps put a freeze on the account and ones ability to acquire any new credit until it is paid down to a reasonable amount?
I sure seems like they want people to get in over their heads like this so they can make huge profits.
A perfect legal scam.
