I would suggest that you file a separate form for each 1099 that you have- the only number that will change is the individual 1099C number.

The main reason for doing it that way is to provide a clear trail for anyone looking at the return.

What I have done when I can't figure out the forms is to go directly to the main IRS office and ask for assistance in doing the forms. You don't have to file right there, but they can help you and it is free.

Your husband can not claim you - only the children- make sure he is following the rules. Are you divorced?
Do the children live with you for 6 months or more during the year?

Head of household is a most misunderstood filing status and follows very specific rules.

Again, if you have questions, the best thing to do is go directly to the irs office and ask for some help with the forms.
