Have your loan officer show that the chargeoffs are disputed, produce copies of your CRRR letters and receipts where you have sent a dispute letter to the OC and the CRA, request that the amount on the reports be escrowed at closing if they are INSISTING they be paid, until they are deleted from your reports.

Paying the OC will not do anything except cement the entry to your reports as a paid chargeoff, assuming the OC can even accept the payment.
