I'm thinking of opening a checking acct, and am not sure if I'm on chex. I had a checking acct with Wells Fargo for a long time, and it was overdrawn for a while (about 30 days due to all the direct debits I had set up), but I then paid off the amount overdrawn, and then I closed it a couple of weeks later since I didn't see any point in keeping it open. When I went to close it, Wells said they wanted to keep me as a customer and offered to supsend service charges on it until I became employed again. However, I also didn't want anymore unauthorized direct debits to cause it to be overdrawn for anymore. So I just had them close it. Do you think it's likely I'm on chex?
