I apologize for the major confusion that accompanies this account. I only attended 2 ½ courses through UOP Online. Because I am a single mother and also work fulltime, it was difficult for me to keep up with the courses, so I had to withdraw from the program. At the time, I had the understanding that I had a Pell Grant as well as a Stafford Loan. I have been paying on my Stafford Loan through Sallie Mae.

I believed that the balance due to UOP must have been a duplicate billing because $3000+ just seemed like an exorbitant amount for 3 classes, and I just continued to pay on my Stafford Loan. I should have given this matter more attention at the time, and for that I sincerely apologize.

My account balance in the amount of $1,***.** has since been “charged off” by UOP. Although the amount still seems exorbitant to me and I cannot understand why Pell did not pick this up, I am offering to settle this disputed debt in exchange that your tradeline is completely and fully deleted from my credit report with all major credit reporting agencies.

I believe this is an offer that will work well for both of us. UOP will recover money allegedly owed, and my credit report will be improved drastically. If you are willing to accept this offer, please send a signed agreement to me stating that, in exchange of payment of $1,460.84 on account ID #*********, any and all derogatory entries in accordance with this account and ID will be deleted from all major credit reporting agencies.

In the event that this offer is accepted and your tradeline continues to remain on my credit report, I will pursue recourse through my attorney for breach of contract. If the offer is refused, I will continue to dispute the validity of this debt.

Please consider my offer as getting this removed from my credit report is important to me. Also, if this alleged debt is in fact valid, I wish to fulfill my obligations to University of Phoenix.
