LadynRed, Thanks. As for the cosigned auto, I was just planning on listing it and not reaffirming. I am listed as the cobuyer, and it is my parents who are the buyer, so I'm assuming that the car will not be taken by the lender. Could they even legally take it since I'm not the buyer? Should I call them and find out? Also, the person listed as the buyer -- my father -- is okay with this, so he'll not have a problem. As far as I understand, what will happen is that my legal obligation to pay this debt will be discharged, but his will not. One question, though. I plan on continuing to pay the car payment. Can I do this even if I list it in my Chapter 7? I'm listing it as an expense on my schedule I (or J -- I can't remember the letter off top of my head). I am in possesion of the vehicle, and the sole driver of the vehicle -- use it to get to work, etc. It is my only vehicle. So I can count this, right? --gerbil
