u cant insure it unless its in ur name in texas, the rest is up to u. we warned ya lol. the lien is on the title. u cant sell things without permission of the lienholder, u cant get original title in ur name until its paid for or u make a contract with the lien holder. . the rest i dont know. u will be driving a non insured car and that in texas is a big deal! u can be arrested and lose ur license. my son in law did. i have no idea the law on him selling the car and u having it with the loan so far behind. well i wont speculate but i would think its considered stolen if u buy it and he doesnt pay the lien holder off. good luck! actually my guess is in him doin that..he stole it.
