My husband recieved a 1099-C from a bank he had a credit card w/. I know that I must file this w/ my taxes as it is considered income. Does this mean that I will have to pay the amount on the 1099-C?..because it is over $600.00. I cannot afford that. That was the reason for the write off in the first place, is because we could not afford the amounts they were billing us.
