A week after the first call, I finally recieved something in writing. During that time, I wrote Amex and told them that I was enrolling in CCC and gave them all the info needed. I sent a small payment, along with the letter. They cashed my check.

Then I got a new statement from the CA, with the small payment I made, applied to the balance.

At this point, I'm trying to come up with a payment plan. The CA told me that if I can't pay alteast half, they will send me to Legal. I feel like my hands are tied. What do I do from here?

Even if this does goto court, I'll just tell the judge that I want to pay and that I am only able to do so, in a payment plan.

I'm hoping Amex takes the account back...and works me through CCC. Anyone have any advice?
