selling CC accts to Collection Agency...What is beginning SOL date???

Well guys its me again...Being sued by Unifund..A t t universal CC unpaid since 98, AT & T sells account to Citibank I think in 2/2000 and then Citibank sells to collection agency Unifund in 2001. I have all 3 reports from all agencies and Trans Union shows that Unifund puts the same account up and list OPEN date as date THEY buy account(guess they wanna change SOL). I want to know when does the SOL begin??? How can I prove it??? I am in the process of getting past bank statements...Any tips or advice??Lawyer is preparing an answer to my Citation..We are going for SOL even though X was to pay this in Divorce in 1999..in same court where they are suing me...this Sucks!!
