Are you SURE about the account data? Accounts must be charged off within 6 months of default. Citi wouldn't be taking over a defaulted account, unless there was a glitch in the accountig system. Your SOL starts your first defaulted month (late/past due) that was never caught up or LEGALLY re-aged by the original creditor. On your credit reports for the OC does it show a chargeoff date?By the way, what State are you in?
