Need help in final step of cleaning credit

I have been working the past year on getting a negative account on my CR off.
I sent two letters to the OC and CA asking for verification. 30 day pasted and I received no verification. I then sent letters to all three CRA and asked them to delete the account because I didn't receive verification from the OC and CA and sent all the copies of the letters. They wrote back and said after further investigation they verified it was mine.
Confused because I never got verification from the OC or CA how could the CRA get it. It is not correct.
Need to know what the next step is.
