This was your daughter's bill from an injury to her while she was a minor and in your custody?

Check your and HER credit reports, make sure they haven't poisoned your reports. If they have, yes, consult a consumer lawyer, if not, write a letter CRRR to the hospital legal department, you can use the form letter from my website as a general guide, but stress that you will hold the hospital responsible under Federal and State laws for any continued harrassment or any possible injury to your or your daughter's credit.

You should also file a complaint with the FTC the BBB and our State's Atorney General Office.

IF they have put it on your credit report, you have damages and can SUE.
