How do I know if my credit card debt is expired? Your credit card debt never expires. The statute of limitations expires which means that it is no longer possible to file a judgement against you on the debt. The 4 year (or whatever) count starts as of the date of the last activity on your account. I read in one place that the statute of limitations for my state is 4 years. When do I start counting the 4 years? Is from when the debt first became delinquent? One of my accounts was just turned over to a collection agency ao I am trying to arm myself with as much info as possible Then you need to enroll yourself in my creditwrench program and learn how to remove adverse reports from your credit bureau files and how to run the collection agencies around Robin Hoods barn until they go away. It's not all that hard to do once you learn how. Just takes a bit of time and effort and costs a whole lot less than going out and hiring some credit repair firm to do it for you. They cannot do anything for you that you cannot do yourself and for a lot less money. Bill Bauer http://creditwrench.hypermart.net/index.html bbauer1@netzero.net
