They have a contract with Airborn that makes it cheaper for them to send that way than regular mail.

Don't worry, all the advise you are getting is probably true -and probably false to some extent.

I have linked the Refusal Of Arbitration Letter below for you,at the bottom of the letter is a link back to my Home Page, that has a BUNCH of stuff for you, like "abbreviations" and "SOL" explanations.

You say you stopped paying MBNA about 2 years ago? What was the condition of the account at that time? Do you have any of your monthly statements from then?

Is this account the only one that is a problem for you? If so, it would be a shame to have to file BK for just 1 account.

The people who are getting judgments from the entry of an arbitration award are those who do ot fight it and get default judgment. The others who need to have Court reporters etc. are likely business accounts that do not have the consumer protection against forced arbitration that is on the statutes in most States.
