Best bet at this point may be to attack them through CRA's and despute them through there. Since the merger with Alegis has made it difficult to get these critters to comply. Hence forth the merger. Get it? By the way, everything you send should be in the form of affidavit, notarized and sent certified mail with return receipt. BTW: I am not an attorney nor do I practice in this state or any other.

: Meeeeeee has the right idea. Anytime you see something funky on your credit report, dispute it first with the CRAs. Only contact the creditor/collection agency if disputing through the CRAs fails.

: Contacting a collection agency directly, in many cases, is an open invitation for them to start calling, threatening and harassing you again.
